Azzurro’s Domiciliary Physiotherapy Service helps patients to reach and maintain the best level of independence they can, and to manage their condition(s) in their place of residence, whether it is their own home, residential home or nursing home. Our physiotherapists work with patients, family members, carers, other agencies and other professionals to help each patient achieve their optimum level of independence and mobility. What is the role of a physiotherapist?

 

Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease. A Physiotherapist will also help to encourage development and facilitate recovery, enabling people to remain independent for as long as possible and achieve their goals.
